i fully expect this to hang around -3 but it wouldn't shock me if this number gets reposted (after the indy/denver game) as Pats -3.5

i don't see this number opening LESS than -3 and i don't think books will go lower - what they might do is make the Pats -3 +100 or +110 - you get the point.

i'll take my chances and grab what i feel is a great number NOW - for just like past meetings between this 2 - the team with the MUCH better defense and the one that plays in cold weather WILL WIN THIS GAME. or rather - peyton manning will find a way to lose this game!

I too think Denver has a good shot to win! Indy has no defense and if Manning is off they are in trouble. Of course if Manning is at his best Denver will have to score about 38 to win. As for N/E -3 -105, I like it too Winky. The only thing that scares me is N/E is without Law, but everything else points in favor of N/E. If Indy looks really good tomorrow I could see it opening at a soft 3.

winky, you better go back and check stats on the last time these two teams met. indy RAN for over 200yds on n.e and at one time ran the ball 8 straight times for 56yds. this defense is not the same as last year. pgh ran for 200yds on them. plus with ty law out, i think this n.e team is in big trouble. the thing n.e better hope for is a snow storm.
